I am a Specialist Neurologist practicing at Aster Royal Al Raffah Hospital in Muscat, with a strong focus on stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, and neurocritical care. Over the past several years in Oman, I have been closely involved in acute stroke evaluation, including rapid neurological assessment, imaging interpretation, thrombolysis decisions, and post-stroke recovery planning. I work collaboratively with emergency medicine, critical care, internal medicine, and rehabilitation teams to ensure that every patient receives streamlined and comprehensive neurological care.

I have a particular interest in headache medicine, especially modern migraine therapies. I have helped introduce CGRP monoclonal antibodies and gepants into routine practice and have managed more than 100 patients with these newer treatment options. My clinical work also includes the evaluation and management of complex epilepsy cases, syncope, dizziness, movement disorders, and a wide range of general neurological presentations.

I place strong emphasis on clear communication, patient education, and evidence-based decision-making. My aim is to make neurological care accessible, modern, and patient-centred, while ensuring that each individual receives an accurate diagnosis and an effective treatment plan. I remain committed to continuously updating my practice with the latest advances in clinical neurology to serve my patients in Oman with the highest standards of care.

Stroke assessment, imaging interpretation, thrombolysis decision-making, and post-stroke rehabilitation planning. Headache & Migraine Medicine – extensive experience with CGRP monoclonal antibodies and gepants; management of chronic migraine, vestibular migraine, and complex headache syndromes. Epilepsy – diagnosis and management of seizure disorders, medication optimization, EEG-based assessment, and long-term follow-up. Neurocritical Care – neurological evaluation in ICU patients, sedation hold assessments, coma evaluation, and management of neurological complications in critical illness. Dizziness & Balance Disorders – assessment of vertigo, gait imbalance, syncope mimics, and related neurological causes. Movement Disorders – evaluation and treatment of tremor, parkinsonism, and medication-induced movement abnormalities. General Neurology – neuropathies, myopathies, cognitive disorders, demyelinating conditions, and complex diagnostic cases. Neuroimaging Interpretation – CT/MRI brain and spine interpretation for emergency and outpatient neurological conditions. Collaborative Multidisciplinary Neurological Care – coordinated management with emergency, critical care, internal medicine, rehabilitation, and radiology teams
