Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Wahaibi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Aster Royal Hospital, specializing in advanced hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgery. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University and completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery under the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB). He further advanced his clinical expertise through a prestigious fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Micro Surgery (CMKI) in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

Dr. Al-Wahaibi provides specialized care for complex hand trauma, peripheral nerve conditions, and reconstructive upper limb procedures. His clinical expertise encompasses the diagnosis and surgical management of complex conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremities, with a focus on restoring function and supporting optimal patient outcomes.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Al-Wahaibi is actively involved in surgical education and professional governance. He contributes to national healthcare standards as a member of the Oman Medical Specialty Board, the Oman Medical Association, and the Oman Society of Surgery of the Hand.
