Dr. Mahmood Nasser Al Hajiry

Dr Mahmood is a senior consultant interventional radiologist, trained in Ireland with fellowship in Radiology from the Royal College of Radiologists (United Kingdom).
Served as a consultant interventional radiologist in HSE of Ireland, he is currently Head of Interventional Radiology in the Royal Hospital Muscat, the largest and most busy hospital in Oman with more than 20 years of international experience in vascular and interventional radiology across Oman, Ireland, Singapore, and the UK. Specialized in advanced minimally invasive procedures including vascular angioplasty and stenting, wide range of embolization therapies such as uterine fibroids embolization and varicocele embolization, endovenous varicose veins treatment,  tumor ablation, dialysis access interventions, thrombectomy, EVAR/TEVAR, and image-guided oncology treatments.
Recognized international speaker and faculty member at major radiology societies including Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society (PAIRS), with strong leadership experience in healthcare management, clinical governance, and radiology education.
Actively involved in research, medical training, and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of interventional radiology services in the region and internationally.
