Following completion of post graduation, M.S (Orthopedics) from Manipal University, India I continued my training in United Kingdom completing MRCS and FRCS (Trauma & Orthopedics). I then completed fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty, joint preservation surgery, soft tissue/sports injuries around the knee and Orthopedic Trauma. I pursued a subspecialty interest in limb reconstructive surgery in Orthopedics.
Prior to this assignment at Aster I worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Kings College Hospital, London, United Kingdom with a subspecialty interest in lower limb arthroplasty complex trauma management and limb reconstruction. I continue to remain as an in an elite my Honorary Consultant in Orthopedics at Kings College Hospital. The experience of working in an elite teaching institution as well as a major trauma center helped me to evolve as a competent surgeon managing complex elective orthopedic and trauma patients. It also provided me with a an opportunity to engage in continuing professional development as well as to involve in teaching and training medical students and orthopedic trainees over the last 15 years

- Soft tissue/sports injuries-arthroscopic procedure for ligament reconstruction meniscal repair and cartilage regeneration
- Complex adult and pediatric trauma and fracture management
- Limb reconstruction procedures for septic and aseptic nonunion, infected joints, deformity correction and leg length equalizing procedures
- Management of complex foot and ankle deformity
- Management of complex foot and ankle deformities, arthroscopic management of ankle injuries and ligament reconstruction
- Multiple charity missions as part of IDEALS, UK and Medical Aid for Palestine to Gaza in the last 10 years
- Charity missions in Africa as a part of the British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery and Training. (BFIRST).
