During my tenure in the Emergency Department, I was responsible for managing a wide range of critical cases, including cardiac, medical, gynecological, and surgical emergencies. My role primarily involved quickly assessing patients, stabilizing their condition, and ensuring they were promptly shifted to the appropriate specialty for further management. I gained invaluable experience in providing urgent care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

As a Medical Officer in Cardiology, I also had the opportunity to assist in the daily management of the outpatient department (OPD). I supported various diagnostic procedures, including treadmill tests (TMT) and echocardiograms (ECHO), ensuring accurate results and timely interventions. I was also actively involved in patient rounds, where I worked closely with the cardiology team to assess and manage both inpatient and outpatient cases.

In addition, I played a crucial role in coordinating care within the Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU). This included monitoring critically ill cardiac patients, assisting in medical decision-making, and facilitating smooth communication between specialists, ensuring optimal patient management. The experience provided me with extensive exposure to both emergency and cardiology care, enhancing my ability to respond effectively to a diverse range of clinical challenges.
