Dr. Sunil Ratnam

I graduated with my MBBS from Al Ameen Medical College, Karnataka in 2000. After working as a junior resident in several clinics , I pursued my postgraduate MD( General practice) course under Tribhuvan university,Nepal in 2003.
My early career was shaped by 3 years as Senior Resident in General surgery , Emergency and Paeditrics.My work experience was mostly in Christian Mission Hospitals where I developed strong clinical skills along with compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
In 2009,I relocated to Muscat and began working as a General Practitioner, initially in polyclinics and later joined Al Raffah Hospital in 2014.
During the COVID-2019 pandemic, I was privileged to work along with various specialists teams and received COVID warrior appreciation for my contribution.
I also pursue Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration from Medvarsity as part of my interest.
Currently , I am eager to explore avenues where my clinical acumen can be applied in areas of Digital Health transformation particularly in Emergency medicine and chronic disease management.
